My name is Eric Muntz, and this is my journal blog.

I live in Atlanta, GA with my wife Katy Stout and our daughter Ona (born 07/30/2007). I am a Software Developer with a degree in Math from Auburn University (War Eagle, bitches). I currently own a tiny (i.e. I’m the one employee) consulting business writing software. Here is some information on me in case somebody out there somewhere is looking for me from some stop in life….

  • Born in Honolulu, HI. Lived on the east side of Oahu – in an area called “Hawaii Kai” with my Grandparents or in the Kahala area with my father.
  • Moved to Georgia and spent time in Kennesaw and Marietta, graduating from Marietta High School in 1993.
  • Went to Auburn University in 1993 and took my sweet time getting a degree in Math in June 1999.
  • Worked for Infographix/Colorbus in Atlanta, GA while in college.
  • Moved to Atlanta after college, then to Washington DC for three or four years while Katy worked on her Master’s at George Washington.
  • Back to Atlanta in 2004.

Have worked for a number of places including: General Cinema at Merchants Walk (best high school job ever), Q-Zar (dorkiest high school job ever), Colorbus/Infographix, Zap Media, BTG/Titan/L-3 for the US Courts, Sidereus Technologies, Manheim Auto Auctions, and maybe more that I’m forgetting (oh yeah, Taco Bell in college for three weeks!).

Schools that I can think of… Haha`ione Elementary school in Hawaii, Kennesaw Elementary, Pine Mountain Middle, Marietta Junior High, Marietta High, Auburn University. I lived in Jacksonville, NC for something like a year, but I have no idea the name of the school or really anything about the area.

I played a lot of baseball growing up, though I’m not sure how to relate where/when I played.

There it is.

Oh, and “projectminer” is a tribute to my grandparent’s, John and Vera Miner.  I’ll upload a picture someday.
